NORFOLK — The Hastings High girls golf team struggled to a round of 409 on day one of the Class A state meet Monday at the Norfolk Country Club. The team entered today’s second and final round sitting 11th out of 12 teams.
Lauren Licking, who transferred to Hastings from Norfolk for her senior season, finished with a round of 89 on her former home course. She teed off at 10:20 this morning in a tie for 16th. The top 15 individuals earn a a medal.
Other HHS golfers that competed Monday were Jessica Zach (100), Sydney Landell (102), Ashley Davis (118) and Olivia Loetterle (120).
