SIOUX CITY — The Hastings College football team traveled to Sioux City as an overwhelming underdog to defending runner-up and NAIA No. 1 Morningside.
The result, which was a 44-3 loss, was not the one Broncos' head coach Tony Harper had hoped for, but he did see some positives in the defeat.
"I told the kids at halftime, 'I want 30 more minutes. You're doing these next two quarters not for the coaches and not for the people in the stand, but for the guys who you're around in the locker room,' " Harper said.
