Broncos upset No. 15 Defenders

In the two team's last meeting earlier this season in Sioux Center, Iowa, Hastings College lost to Dordt 19-25, 21-25, 33-31, 17-25. But in that loss, head coach Matt Buttermore saw something that he knew could work in the team's rematch Saturday at Lynn Farrell Arena.
The strategy Saturday was to attack to the right side as much as possible and hit the No. 15 Defenders' defense from their back side.

Hastings College junior right side attacker Katie Zoucha took advantage, accounting for a team-high 13 kills thanks to a .423 attack percentage in helping the Broncos (18-9 overall, 9-2 GPAC) upset Dordt (17-5, 8-3) in straight sets, 25-22, 25-22, 25-19.
