KEARNEY — Throughout the season, Lane Tibbs and Jeremiah Panec led an experienced Kenesaw cross country team.
At Friday's state cross country meet, it was no different.
Tibbs placed fifth and Panec was 11th in Class D state race at the Kearney Country Club. The Blue Devils finished eighth as a team with 136 points. Crofton won the meet with 69 points.
"The times were better. That's what you look for is time-wise you're improving that way," said Kenesaw head coach Tom Budnick.
