GENEVA — Momentum is a precious commodity in volleyball. Once one team has it, it can't give it away.
Just after Fillmore Central finished the first set strong, it opened the second set of a best two-out-of-three match with No 6-seed Milford in the second round of the Southern Nebraska Conference tournament on an 8-1 run.
It appeared that the third-seeded Panthers had all the momentum at their home gym.
But hitting errors kept swinging the momentum meter back toward the Eagles (19-8), who came back and won the final two sets to earn a 20-25, 25-22, 25-19 victory Monday.
