Hundreds came out to see impressive rides and tough breaks for cowboys and cowgirls participating in the 21st annual Oregon Trail Rodeo this weekend at the Adams County Fairgrounds.

Sandy Himmelberg, Adams County Fairgrounds manager, said organizers don’t have numbers yet for Saturday and Sunday, but attendance seemed to be good. On Friday, there were more than 200 extra fans than who attended a year ago.

“They were good all the nights,” she said. “Sunday, we felt was a very good crowd.”
