School discusses adding 3 sports

The students are interested but there's no decision yet from the Adams Central Board of Education on the addition of three sports to the school's extracurricular program.

During Monday's school board meeting, activities director Ron Alexander presented the board with the results of a Aug. 13 survey of students grades 7-12 regarding the possible addition of boys baseball, boys and girls swimming and girls soccer to the school's long list of extracurriculars.

During Monday's meeting, the board expressed interest in having more discussion about the three sports.

St. Cecilia and Hastings High are slated to have survey results back within a moth.
The AC board wants to have a decision made on the addition of any or all of the three sports by Jan. 1.
