Tesdahl example of love, faith

Mourners wait in line to enter Calvary Lutheran Church for
the funeral of Dustin Tesdahl Wednesday in Rosemont.
ROSEMONT — Just like the three other people who died in the Sept. 5 school bus-semitrailer crash southeast of Blue Hill, the Rev. Ron Kuehner said, God had other plans for Dustin Tesdahl.

At Tesdahl's funeral Wednesday afternoon at Rosemont's Calvary Lutheran Church, Kuehner said everyone needs to trust that God has a plan for their lives. Even though the high school senior thought of becoming a teacher, running for public office or pursuing a career in ministry, Dustin trusted God for his life plan, Kuehner said.

"God's heavenly plans for Dustin's future were even greater than Dustin's earthly plans for himself," Kuehner said.

Dustin's was the last of the funerals for those killed in the fiery crash last week. The funerals for bus driver Marla Wentworth and semi driver Travis Witte were Monday, and 10-year-old bus passenger Caroline Thallman's funeral was Tuesday.
