AC tennis courts welcome addition

courts built on campus.
For the first three years of his high school tennis career, Michael Sanderson had to bum a ride or drive into Hastings from Adams Central High School for tennis practice.

And without tennis courts of its own, Adams Central couldn't host a tennis tournament.
That all changed with the building of six red, white and blue courts on the north end of the school property.

Sanderson and the rest of his team got to play on a match on the courts for the first time Thursday in a dual against Grand Island Central Catholic.

"It's way nicer to have them here," Sanderson said. "These are really nice, and we have a lot more room here than we did there."
