City announces police chief finalists
The city of Hastings has announced the finalists for the position of police chief at the Hastings Police Department. Among the finalists are two in-house candidates.
The four finalists are:
— Gene Boner, captain with the Hastings Police Department
— Peter Kortum, captain with the Grand Island Police Department
— Adam Story, captain with the Hastings Police Department
— B.J. Wilkinson, chief of police for Litchfield, Ill.
The Hastings Civil Service Commission narrowed the field of 27 applicants down to four.
