Alliance too much for Tigers
ALLIANCE — The Alliance offense prefers to put its quarterback in shotgun, send out four receivers and spread the field.
But against Hastings, it found it easiest to go right up the gut.
Bulldog senior running back Mitch Pancost was a workhorse, tallying 256 rushing yards on 35 carries for three touchdowns as the Bulldogs downed the Tigers 21-12 Friday night in Alliance.
"We just lost the line of scrimmage," Hastings High head coach Rick Ripperger said. "I don't know what else to tell you."
