Thursday night in Kearney.
KEARNEY — Even when they were down 14-10 in the fifth set, Hastings High head coach Dave Hepner knew the Tigers weren't out of it just yet.

After all, they had proved time and time again throughout the match against Kearney that they could rally. And they did by going on another scoring surge in the final moments to win 24-26, 25-16, 26-24, 24-26, 16-14 Thursday night.

"You never think you're out of it when you've got a team like this. They never quit. They fight and they fight and they fight," Hepner said.
