Streets are terrible

I just came back Thursday from a trip to Minnesota to see family. If you recall it snowed Thursday, almost my entire nine-hour drive. There was a remarkable difference in clearing of the roads between Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska. Minnesota was by far the best.

I spent my time in the Twin Cities and the streets were great! I come back here and the streets are awful — borderline impassable in some cases. Take South Street, for example: it’s a main street and it’s horrible.

Even now, at 1:30 p.m. Friday, it’s melting enough that there is no excuse to not be out scraping and clearing the streets. We pay so much in taxes, I see no reason this can’t be done.
