Excellent letter by Abbi Kleinschmidt of Sutton (Saturday’s Tribune). It enumerates several of the concerns about the Keystone XL Pipeline: jobs (very few permanent jobs), energy independence and lower gas prices (most products will be exported), and especially the danger to potable drinking water for the eight states above the Ogallala Aquifer for people, animals and crops. Her letter needs to be sent to all newspapers and all elected officials as well as to Secretary of State John Kerry.
