40 years after Roe v. Wade
Mr. President, you said a few days ago in the aftermath of the latest school shootings that we must protect each and every one of our children from this violence.
Mr. President, you have forgotten someone: Our defenseless unborn children. Guns did not kill these children.
It has been 40 years since the Supreme Court handed down its ruling in Roe v. Wade, legalizing abortion in all nine months of pregnancy for any reason. Since then, 55.5 million children have been killed violently by abortion. Every 20 seconds, an unborn child is deliberately killed. These children would have been working at jobs, earning money, paying taxes, defending our country, loving and raising their families for a stronger America.
Your imposed mandate on insurance companies that they must provide contraception, sterilization and abortion-inducing drugs only adds to the destruction of our future children and our family structure.
Mother Teresa once said that “a nation that kills its own is a nation without hope.”
Mr. President, we must also protect our unborn children.
