McCain petty, childish

I was very disappointed by Sen. John McCain’s attack on Sen. Deb Fischer on the Senate floor this week.

The Senate, by nature, is a deliberative body where issues are meant to be discussed. Fischer gave a thoughtful and detailed speech that outlined exactly why she is against the comprehensive immigration bill currently being debated.

McCain has every right to disagree with her, but to speak to her in a condescending tone and imply that her points are not valid is petty and childish.
