Mural rewarding

A couple of weekends ago, my daughter and I created a memory.

We spent time helping paint the community mural on East Side Boulevard. Every time our family drives down Seventh Street, we will look at the mural.

For now we will watch the progress. And eventually my daughter will drive past it herself and remember as a little girl how she helped to paint it.

No, we don't have some of the things bigger cities have. That is the price you pay to live in a smaller community. (And I am glad to pay it.)

However, the experience we had and the memory we made painting the mural is by far more than any chain clothing store or restaurant has given me.
