Good Samaritan

On Sunday, we traveled to Hastings for an archery tournament. Outside of town, just south of the TV station, we got a flat tire.

Now there is never a good time to get a flat, but it was minus-3 degrees and blustery.

As we were looking for the tools to change the tire, a maroon pickup pulled up in the parking lot across the way, honked and asked if we needed help.

The couple drove over and asked what they could do to help. After learning we had had a flat, the gentleman told us he lived close and a would go get his floor jack.

My husband loosened the lug nuts while he was getting the jack, and within five minutes of him getting back, the tire was changed and we were on our way again.

So we would like to take this opportunity to thank Ernie who works for Budweiser. You were truly our guardian angel that day.

It is so nice to know that great people still will lend a hand when needed.
